| Description | Building with military character and Gothic style, that was constructed in 1328 by order of the king Alfonso XI. This palace was used as the residence of the Catholic Kings for eight years and it was the place where they received Cristobal Colón.. It is an austere compound, with magnificent “mudejar” gardens and courtyards. This palace was built over the ruins of previous constructions, since from Roman times there was a walled enclosure with different buildings in the inside.. |
